it was a good day

Today was a good day. I woke up on the uncertain side.. did not expect it to leave me feeling so good. Thats the thing about life, though, is you can't be too worried about how its going to go. You gotta just do it! Do it scared! Yeah, its hard. But anything hard is worth doing! Trust me :3c
I had a job interview today. I'm one of those people who really hates talking about themselves, so a job interview is not the ideal enviornment for lil ol' razzbeary.
Let me tell you a secret- when I was a child.. we're talking 4 or 5.. Whenever it was my birthday I hated being sung happy birthday to. I mean it would leave me in a fit of full on screaming and crying, LOL. So this idea of being the center of attention has never sat right with this lil creature. I know it's a little ironic considering the fact I have a website and a blog, but.. It's different when I do it over the internet. So much easier to express myself in this digital space I made :3c
So, don't let fear stop you. I've learned fear is just old training rails that need to come off! It's your comfort zone that you have grown too large for now, and you, being a sweet lil hermit crab needs a new shell! Why would you let fear stop you from finding a comfier shell, hermit crab? Go, be yourself unapologetically and get that comfier shell! You need it, you've been working for it, you by all means deserve it. Go for it, little hermit crab, I believe in you!
Before I sign off, I'll say that I know it is much easier said than done. It is so easy to sit and know what you have to do, but being able to act on it is something different. My advice is this: weigh your options and ask yourself what is and isn't serving you anymore. Once you realize what isn't serving you anymore then act accordingly. It's self love, and it's the right thing to do. The energy that has been in use spinning your wheels getting you nowhere could be used in more efficient ways, lil hermit crab. All it takes is a change in mind set, and once you master this little skill the world is yours. :3c
